I stopped at Flittner’s Gentleman’s Barbers near Moorgate Station in London. I looked inside and they were doing wet shaves and I thought I’d treat myself.
When I enquired the cost was £25.00 for a shave. I decided to give it a miss. I asked permission to take the photograph inside the shop. The staff and customers agreed. I said it was for an Iraqi barber in Sheffield who did well from wet shaves. I then said that there were alot of Kurdish men in the barber business. Kurds, Eastern Europeans, whatever, they are everywhere came the response from the barber in the shop. I couldn’t work out where he was from.
